Goodness. Summer draws to a close, and we get sloppy. Sorry. Development of the various b.org pages continues apace, but we've been neglecting the front page. Shame, shame.
Marathon
The Archives continue to grow, with new submissions, and older maps that never made it in. Keep an eye on that New Stuff page! The Open Source project has heated up, with an (almost) port to BeOS, a Mac SDL version, and an almost complete file abstraction (which will make porting to different operating systems easier). A new site segment, called Reference Info, has been created to house technical tidbits. Go see what the fuss is about!
Myth
Wow. Myth news galore. New sites, new films, and hey... a new newsie! Welcome to Gawyn, who joins the Myth news team. A rejuvenated site! Speaking of Myth news... looks like the World Cup 2000 has ended, with the Street Fighters defeating Ginslingers for the title. Congrats, Street Fighters!
Oni
Oni Central has news of some funky new (well, sort of new) anime art from the folks at Rockstar. Nice looking stuff! (And for those who need it, the FTP archives of old Oni material are (mostly) back online. MP3s and movies, here.)
Halo
HBO's been cooking recently with Xbox news... not all of it good, for PC gamers. Swing by and take a look!

Due to some bizarreness at @Home, a couple of our sites might be hard to reach at the moment: OrbitalArm, and the ftp side of Oni Central. We hope to have these problems cleared up in the next day or so. Apologies for the downtime.
Pathways Into Darkness
Our very own Pathways Into Darkness page finally gets another update! Hamish also mentions something about a competition
Marathon
A public build of Aleph One for Linux is now available. Marathon Open Source has details. More maps make it to The Archives, further additions are planned! Scenario News has news on an Aleph One scenario that seems to be near completion. Got Vid? Marathon's Story takes a break until September 11th, but in the meantime check out the stuff people sent in.

Marathon
The Big House would like to welcome another inmate... Portal of Sigma joins the ranks. This one's well on its way to completion... a demo should be forthcoming. Screenshots are pretty promising... we can't wait! Welcome aboard, guys. Marathon, Marathon, everywhere... folks are STILL finding Marathon sounds in new places, and telling the Marathon's Story page about it. Also, some interesting 2001 parallels. As always, a good read! Yet another new map at the Archives... they come in batches, it seems.

Marathon
Goodness, new maps at the Archives! (Be it known that the 2-week dry spell had more to do with the maintainer than the submitters.) Bunch o' net maps, and a set of mods that give Marathon players Unreal weapons. Check it out! More acronym games at the Story page... sometimes the perseverance of Marathon fans is scary. The newest build of Aleph One has tweaked overhead map code... stop by the Source for more info! The June Map of the Month has been chosen! (Yeah, yeah, it's August. What's your point?) Stop by and see who won, and why. There's more Marathon news... but it's gonna need to wait a day or so.

Stay tuned... the long-awaited fanfest page IS still coming. Free just needs to find the time to put it all together. (We're working on providing him an alternative to real life, so that he won't have to sacrifice his BS time. So far, we've been unsuccessful. Upon reflection, this is a good thing.)
